Join us on Saturday, October 21st from 3:45-5:45 pm for our monthly reading group at the Martin Luther King Branch of the Cleveland Public Library, 1962 Stokes Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106!
This month we are doing our second reading on the political economy of capitalism, focuing on the power of the banks and the financial sector and how they work. We will be reading Tony Norfields piece “Economics, Finance and Politics.”
This isn’t an easy subject matter but it is at the heart of contemporary capitalism. Questions that can’t be answered by Investipedia (posted below) we will definitely be answered in the session. Also if you have not had a chance to do last months political economy reading they may definitely help (though we will review during the session). Everything is posted below.
Also we will be ordering pizza! Any donations will be much appreciated!
