Join our chapter this fall as we tackle “No Shortcuts: Organizing for Power in the New Gilded Age” by Jane F. McAlevey. McAlevey provides a thorough guide to not just labor organizing but invaluable tools for all kinds of organizing and how radical movements can build power. This is a must for new and old activists. The book is reviewed on Jacobin by Sam Gindin if you’d like to preview the topic.
We will be discussing chapters 1-3 (page 1-99) at our meet-up October 24th, and the remainder of the book in November.
