Join our chapter this fall as we tackle “No Shortcuts: Organizing for Power in the New Gilded Age” by Jane F. McAlevey. McAlevey provides a thorough guide to not just labor organizing but invaluable tools for all kinds of organizing and how radical movements can build power. This is a must for new and old activists. The book is reviewed on Jacobin by Sam Gindin if you’d like to preview the topic.
Following up on our discussion of chapters 1-3 in October, we will be discussing chapters 4-7 (page 100-end) at our meet-up November 28th.
